Listen: Pacific Islander scoring white seabass & halibut in the Channel Islands

Channel Island Sportfishing has been on a roll and that roll seems to be getting better. The Pacific Islander scored 25 white seabass on Saturday along with excellent rockfishing. Then on Sunday, the Pacific Islander took 1 white seabass and 5 halibut. The halibut were mostly in the 20 pound class with one of the flatfish bucking up against 50 pounds.

 

Of course, there was excellent rockfishing to go along with the exotics as Captain Steve Virtue and crew do their very best on every single trip to make sure you are having a great time. Virtue said the seabass were taken on drooper-loop rigs, live squid and an 8 ounce torpedo sinker.
