Captain Frank Savino of the Enterprise put the Fishing with Phil group on a really nice bite Saturday evening for nice sand bass and one big halibut.
The bite was very slow up until 10:30pm when things started to change. Anglers in the bow started catching nice sand bass on leadhead and squid as well as on a dropper loop rigs with a least 4 ounces of lead as there was a fierce current.
Several anglers limited out on nice sandies as the Enterprise crew did a fabulous job on deck. On the way home, several anglers won some great raffle prizes.
