Don Ashley from Pierpoint Landing in Long Beach is reporting wide open barracuda action for boats fishing around the Huntington Flats this morning. "Most boats are headed towards limits if they don't already have 10-fish per rod,"" he said.
Ashley said that there continues to be some barracuda to 8-pounds while the majority seem to be in the 3-5 pound class. Both bait and lures have been very effective this morning.
"This is a great way to start the week and we are hoping that this is just the beginning of a long season to come," said Ashley.
