Great times last night on another Fishing with Phil Twilight Adventure. We had a nice mix of sculpin and sand bass and while far from wide open, we had a blast. Twenty-four anglers tallied 32 sand bass, 78 sculpin and 21 sanddabs.
One young angler was celebrating his birthday and with the caring tutelige of Captain Gabriel Ceballos caught a nice fat sand bass.
Water temperatures have warmed up to the point where there are schools of barracuda around so it wont be long before they join the Fishing with Phil Twilight party. In fact, we are hopeful that might be tonight.
Fishing with Phil twilight adventures every Friday and Saturday evenings, 6:30pm-Midnight on the Native Sun out of Long Beach Sportfishing. 562 432 8993.
Special thanks to Dean at Anglers Center in Newport Beach and Lucky Chum Lures for their great raffle prizes.
